“Have severe COPD from 45 years of smoking. Tried everything to quit with no success. Slept hooked up to an oxygen machine, 2 medications and a rescue inhaler and still could not stop.

“My doctor advised me to try electronic cigarettes, but it wasn’t until a year later I looked into it. March 6, 2011 was my last cigarette and have no desire to go back. No longer need the oxygen and off most of the medication. It was like getting my life back.

“Down to 6mg nicotine and no urge to rush outside after a meal. Still treated as a smoker, but maybe that will change someday.”
